Job Title: NDT Level II Inspector

Description

  • Ensure that set-up and calibration of non-destructive testing equipment are up to date and valid to perform the required tests
  • Ensure and establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection are in line with strict adherence to both safety and required regulations

  • Fill out required logs and statistical data sheets as required
  • Produce concise written NDT reports
  • Report to COMPANY QAQC Lead

  • Interpret the results of all methods of non-destructive testing (NDT) such as acoustic emission, electromagnetic, leak, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, neutron radiographic, radiographic, ultrasonic, vibration analysis, and visual testing
  • Able to read and interpret blueprint and engineering drawings and able to document non-conformances as required
  • Supervise NDT Level I Inspectors.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

  • HND or Degree – Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline
  • Professional Experience (number of years): 10-years and above in Oil & Gas Industry.

Job Title: NDT Level III Inspector

Job Title: Painting / Coating Inspector

Location: Nigeria

Description

  • Review the ITP and provide assurance/control of the quality of the paint codes, visual inspection, mixing and its application
  • Conduct a pre-mob inspections on materials (Paint, thinner, abrasive materials and other consumables etc) and Equipment (Blasting air compressor, nozzles, scaffolds, Airless /Conventional Spraying machines, Holiday detector, spraying tip, Deadman handle).
  • Issues the relevant quality control records and, when necessary, report and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports (as applicable),
  • Provide unbiased reports and a third party (manufacturer) paint inspection,
  • Ensure environment for paint storage is in line with requirement and certification of paint consumables are valid and update to date.
  • Performs qualifications of coating processes and notify the Project Quality Lead and Contractor of any anomalies or irregularities in the specifications as Non-conformance products,
  • Review relevant areas in scope of work and conduct receiving inspection with paint contractor prior to surface preparation and paint application,
  • Confirm that surface preparation is in line with acceptable requirements prior to application and report same immediately.
  • Always ensure, confirm and records atmospheric conditions prior to starting of any painting operations.
  • Carries out wet and dry film thickness checks upon completion of pain application.
  • Verifies the correct Colour-coding and painting during painting to ensure that COMPANY colour coding scheme is duly maintained
  • Performs visuals inspections of determine paint condition, corrosion status of existing surface
  • Perform cathodic dis-bondment test after coating
  • Performs penetration testing.
  • Evaluates impact testing.
  • Performs visual checks after blasting.
  • Verify and ensure measure surface area of structures to be coated/painted is line with the agreed surface area in the contract
  • Estimate quantity of paint to applied on estimated surface
  • Check application of Fusion bonded epoxy and Polyethylene coating in coating plant mostly for line pipes.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification:

  • HND or BSc /B.Eng Degree – Metallurgy & Materials/ Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry
  • Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum of Five (5) years and above of experience in Coating and Painting inspection, with project background within Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience on construction and maintenance works in corrosion field

Minimum Professional Certification(s):

  • Member & Certified to National association of corrosion Engineer (NACE Level I or II) on coating inspector program (CIP-1),

Job Title: Instrument QA / QC Inspector

  • Provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality issues relating to Instrument/control work.

  • Must have knowledge of applicable Local and International Codes and Standards (e.g. IEC, NFPA, UL, BS et), as applicable in the oil/gas industry.

Job Title: Pipeline QAQC Inspector

  • Responsible for inspecting and ensuring that the Company’s Pipeline construction and pipeline repair projects adhere to the Project Procedure / Work Plan, industry standard, company’s safety standards, as well as all state and federal regulations.

  • Support inspection of materials and review of material certification prior to use
  • Verify depth and alignment of trenches, using tape measure and examines bottom of trench for rocks or other hard objects that might damage pipe coatings.
  • Examines surface and x-ray films of welded joints to detect external and internal welding defects.
  • Responsible for selection of welds for non-destructive testing as well as recording and listing of defective welds.
  • Observe coating and wrapping of pipe or pipe joints for conformance to specifications and verify accuracy of coating by observing or conducting electrical tests for holidays.
  • Carry out audit of the approved Third Party NDT Inspection Company.
  • Review the inspection and testing methods and procedures for Radiographic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic Inspections.
  • Supervise and pre-qualify all crews/workers engaged in Welding Operations by conducting welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing.
  • Review of hydrostatic test packages for NDT compliance prior to testing, and overseeing hydro pressure testing of pipelines.
  • Monitor any Post Weld Heat Treatment on site and review the completed test reporting.
  • Actively monitor site radiation safety and review day to day applications for x-raying of welds.
  • Ensure that welding parameters and pre-heat conditions are maintained according to the specifications and procedure qualifications.
  • Ensure welding standards are observed and maintained at all stages of pipeline construction.

Job Title: Process Vessel / Static Inspector

  • Conduct in-service inspection schedule including color coding, repairs and load testing for all the lifting gears for the project
  • Responsible for the maintenance of assigned lifting equipment and accessories dedicated to the project

  • Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum of Fifteen (15) years and above in EPCIC project Execution, with sound project background within Oil & Gas industry.
  • Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2008 or preferably ISO 9001:2015

  • Experienced on a wide range of rotating equipment environments (Compressors, Pumps and engines).
