Within a few years the hospital expanded its scope of services and has become a leading private multispecialty hospital. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Manager

Location: Abuja

The Role

  • Reporting to temporarily to the Chief Operating Officer, the Technical Manager will be responsible providing technical direction for development, design and systems integration
  • As a technical Manager you will review the work involved and follow the project through testing and production deployment phases
  • Technical Manager will also ensures that there are technical procedures, documentations and standard policies put in place, which will be reviewed on a regular basis
  • Where complicated technical problems that arise, the technical manager should be able to make the right decisions on which solutions to implement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with other relevant certifications
  • Two to five years of managerial experience overseeing a diverse multispecialty hospital
  • Knowledge of engineering processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Managing the general upkeep and maintenance of the hospitals building, machines and equipment’s.
  • Ensuring that the Hospital Facilities meets regulatory requirements as well as environmental health and safety.
  • Management of resources such as labour and cost of materials
  • Managing the implementation of new project estimation and execution.
  • Manpower Planning i.e. preparation of rosters for shifts
  • Arranging of the critical spares and consumables for the Hospital’s machines and equipment.
  • Providing technical training, coaching and direction to your team.
  • Coordination with external regulatory agencies like AEDC
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly report preparation & submission.
  • Generating cost control by root cause analysis
  • Responsible for preparation of effective preventative and predictive maintenance programme and ensuring that it is carried out in totality.
  • Any other duty assigned by management
  • Preparation of engineering budget
  • Performance review of the engineering team.

Special Conditions

  • Employment is contingent on passing a medical screening conducted by the hospital
  • Employee will be subject to various testing including but not limited to drug and medical testing throughout the tenure of their employment
  • Knowledge of workflow processes of biomedical equipment, ability to independently troubleshoot biomedical systems.

  • Monthly Gross Salary of N300,000.00
