The Bookworm Cafe is an online children’s reading club that inspires a reading culture in children because today’s readers are tomorrow’s visionary leaders. We loan books to kids, sell children’s books, run interactive reading clubs and provide an online platform for individuals and businesses to trade children’s books.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Volunteer Literacy Coach
Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos
Job Description
- Do you want to give back to your community by volunteering to coach young children to read, speak and write like well?
- Volunteers will guide the children and teach them to read fluently, speak properly and write with ease.
- We run a Saturday literacy club in Lekki and we need volunteers to coach our bookworms.
- We are looking for volunteers who are lovers of literature and who have a good command of the English language.
Requirements
- Interested candidates must live around Lekki axis and must be available at least 2 Saturdays every month.
- You do not need to be a qualified teacher as volunteers are trained on what to do.
