Job Title: Drilling Engineer

Location: Plateau

Requirements, Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Drilling Engineer for 15 or more years with a EPC or Major Oil Company.
  • Designing wells in support of a field development
  • Preparing cost estimates and assessing risk
  • Reporting and optimizing operations
  • Applying technology and innovation in directional drilling, mud systems, casing and drill string design, and completions
  • Supervising drilling, completion and workover operations
  • Managing the logistics and reporting of operations
  • Conduct DWOP, WWOP & AAR meetings for all wells scheduled in the Technical Work Program
  • B.Eng degree in Engineering with 15 years experience

 

Job Title: Drilling Superintendent

Location: Rivers

Requirements, Skills and Experience

Experience:

  • Experience as a Drilling Superintendent for 8 or more years with a EPC or Major Oil Company.
  • Have work experience as a toolpusher or above for a drilling contractor a preferred plus.
  • Have detail understanding of technical specifications of drilling rigs
  • Have extensive industry training and a valid well control certification.
  • Have detailed understanding of drill bits, drilling motors and the relation of the drilling rig circulating system to these tools.
  • Have detailed understanding and hands on experience with various weighted and non-weighted mud systems. Experience with oil based mud and water based mud.
  • Be familiar with cost reporting and cost verification as it pertains to approval of company expenditures.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple drilling rigs at one time in a safe and cost effective manner.
  • Understand and demonstrate leadership in all aspects of managing a HSE compliant operation without sacrificing operational efficiency.

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.Eng degree in Engineering with 10 years experience

 

Job Title: Field Engineer – Directional Driller

Location: Rivers

Job Descriptions

  • Directional Drilling (DD) process including projection of well path to predetermined target coordinates.
  • Understands principles of Bottom Hole assembly (BHA) selection and aspects of DD performance and ensures that BHA’s are assembled as planned including correct make-up torque, doping and handling.
  • Proficient in the use of DD computer software and able to assist in provision of advice and analysis to the client representative at the well site.
  • Proficient in updating well profile plots and providing client representative with accurate directional survey data.
  • Aware of client’s requirements with regards to surveying procedures.
  • Assists in the completion of a daily DD report, BHA performance report for each BHA run, completion of all service tickets and relevant paperwork (well data spreadsheet, lesson learned/best practice, End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) forms).
  • Familiar with the DD aspects of the client’s approved drilling program.
  • Assists in the inspection of all DD company equipment delivered on the work site. Interfaces with the MWD engineer to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct toolface references are applied.
  • Maintains records of all DD equipment at well site including dimensional data and condition.
  • Ensure that all equipment is laid out after use in accordance with company procedures and manifested for backload at the end of the job. rig safety certificate

Education and/or Experience

  • B.Eng degree in Engineering with 10 years relevant experience

Job Title: Senior Completions/Well Interventions Engineer

Location: Rivers

Main Duties

  • Providing technical discipline expertise and strategic oversight to Supply Chain on all contractual issues with regards to completions, interventions and well servicing activities
  • Providing technical discipline expertise and taking ownership of completions, interventions and well servicing activities, including but not limited to basis of design documents, cost estimates, (scoping, budget and AFE etc.) operational programmes, risk assessments, management of change/dispensations etc.
  • Completing the end of well reports, to include an accurate account of the operations performed, summarising performance/costs and compiling lessons learned/recommendations for improvements for future operations etc.
  • As required, liaising with the Well Examiner with regards to completions, interventions and well servicing compliance/operational issues.
  • As required, assisting the Completions & Well Integrity Team Lead/Well Engineering Manager with the preparation of new documents and/or providing regular updates to existing documents to ensure compliance

Requirements, Skills and Experience
To be considered for the Senior Completions/Well Interventions Engineer opportunity you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Degree qualification
  • Level 4 Supervisors IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Certificate
  • Extensive experience in completions, interventions and well servicing operations with a known North Sea Operator
  • Proven record of accomplishment for design, planning and execution of well work from semi-submersible, jack up, LWIVs and /or fixed platforms (covering both surface and subsurface XTs)
  • Technically competent and knowledgeable/experienced with drilling, completions, well integrity, well interventions and well servicing equipment

Education and/or Experience

  • B.Eng degree in Engineering with 10 years experience

Experience:

  • Senior Completions/Well Interventions Engineer 10 years’ experience in the management of operated and non-operated wells by ensuring all completions, interventions and well servicing activities

 

Job Title: Tool Pusher

Location: Rivers

Requirements, Skills and Experience

Experience:

  • Experience as a Drilling Tool Pusher for 10 or more years with a EPC or Major Oil Company.
  • Have minimum 5 years of experience in the same position
  • Have valid IADC/ IWCF certifications.
  • Have technical knowledge in drilling equipment & Drilling process for offshore operation
  • Have a thorough knowledge of rig emergency signals and procedures
  • Have a thorough knowledge of hand signals and safe working procedures for equipment handling
  • Proficient in English (written & oral)

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.Eng degree in Engineering with 10 years experience
