Job Title: IT and Operations Lead

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The candidate will provide technical ICT support, manage the processing of buying and selling mandates and all operational activities required in processing of documents in stock trading firms.

Specifications
The specifications include:

  • Minimum of a first Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience as an IT and operations officer in a stock broking firm
  • Must be familiar with all the operational activities and terms
  • Have skills in research and business development will be an added advantage. Have experience working with hardware
  • Familiar with software packages so as to act as the administrator of the firm’s organisational tool
  • Have interest in social media, graphic design and use of power point.

 

Job Title: Head of Finance

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The person will be in charge of the finance department and take full responsibility of the firm’s financial records, payroll and financial performance reporting.
  • Ensuring an environment of tight financial control and delivery of the firm’s financial strategy, in alignment with the overall vision and strategy.

Specifications
The specifications of the position include:

  • Minimum of a first Degree or equivalent
  • The role reports directly to the Managing Director.
  • The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 6 years cognate work experience in an investment or stock broking company,
  • He / She MUST be a chartered Accountant with FRC registration
  • He / She is expected have experience in financial planning and budgeting, reporting, accounting operations, company and personal income tax, Trading operations, treasury Management and general accounting operations activities.
  • The candidate must be in the same position at the moment or at the least assistant head of finance.

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • The candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, pitching products and/or services
  • Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.

Job Requirments
The candidate should have:

  • Minimum of a first Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5years proven experience in Marketing securities and stock broking service
  • CIS Certified. Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria
  • Have existing contacts
  • Good with numbers
  • Strong communication
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to market products on various social media platforms
  • Ability to trade on the stock exchange will be an added advantage

 

Job Title: Dealing Clerk / Trader

Location: Lagos

Job Description / Requirements

  • The candidate will be responsible for buying and selling stocks, as well as giving advice to clients on investment and financial instruments, such as stocks, bonds, commodities and mutual funds.
  • He / she will make recommendations to clients, which can consist of individuals, money managers, pension funds, government agencies or corporations.
  • Minimum of a first Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience as a Broker / trader.
  • Must have CIS qualification and registered with SEC.
  • CFA student membership or qualification
  • Have skills in research and business development will be an added advantage.
