AETI Power Systems and Controls Limited – We are an engineering consulting company, whose focus has been on rendering the following services: Technical Training, Recruitment of technical Personnel, Outsourcing of Technical Personnel and rendering engineering consulting services to the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, engineering services, Hospitality Industry, etc.

In furtherance of our objective of meeting the learning requirements of manufacturing companies in the Lekki/Ajah zone, a decision has been made to establish a learning centre in Lekki Free Trade Zone.

Accordingly, the services of very professional engineers with a flair for teaching, research making and management are required for the vacant position below:

Job Title: Course Coordinator

Location: Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos
Job Type: Part-time

Requirements

  • The successful candidates for these positions will have degrees in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering with not less than 3 years relevant experience.
  • He/She will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing training programmes, as well assisting in the process of research of course contents.

 

Job Title: Course Facilitator

Location: Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos
Job Type: Part-time

Requirements

  • Suitable candidates will be graduates of Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with not less than 10 years facilitation / training experience in the areas of focus of the firm.
  • He / She will have competence in programme research & development as well as the delivery of training programmes in their respective areas of competence.

 

Job Title: Assistant Centre Manager

Location: Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos

  • He will be responsible for the profitable operation of the centre.

Requirements

  • The appointee will be a graduate of Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with not less than 7 years industry experience, at senior levels, as well as a flair/experience for teaching & researching at the intermediate/senior levels.
  • He/She will assist the Centre Manager in business development and in the facilitation of training programmes in his areas of competence.

 

Job Title: Centre Manager

Location: Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos

Requirements

  • The appointee will be a graduate of Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with not less than 10 years industry experience, at senior levels, as well as a flair/experience for teaching & researching at the intermediate/senior levels.
  • The appointee will have a flair for business development and should be capable of interacting at senior levels with learning managers as well as the chief engineers of manufacturing/production companies.

 

Job Title: General Manager – Engineering

Location: Lagos

Position Summary

  • The General Manager reports to the Chairman and is responsible for the company’s day-to-day activities, including revenue and sales growth; cost and margin control; as well as monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals of the firm.
  • This role is responsible for providing assistance in crafting the vision, and providing the leadership and management necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational processes, administrative and reporting procedures, in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational efficiency of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Lead a high performance management team to attract and motivate.
  • Establish and manage performance goals and ensure effective staff performance management.

Key Competencies and Requirements

  • Degree in a Business related field, preferably at post-graduate level with an appropriate professional qualification.
  • At least 12 years experience, with 5 years in a Senior consulting position, in a well-structured consulting practice.
  • Very strong business development skills.
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving towards clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investments in people and systems.
