Job Title: Executive Driver

Location: Lagos
Resumption: Not later than 12th March, 2020.

The Role

  • Candidate will be responsible for regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions, drive safely, obey the traffic laws, and respect the rights of other drivers.

Job Duties

  • Drive keeping the road safety regulations all the times.
  • Be punctual and be at least 15 minutes early to the designated time and place.
  • Display a good behaviour, excellent manners and helping attitude.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information heard during transport assignments.
  • Arrange for vehicle care and maintenance (i.e. oil change, tire rotation, cleaning, etc.).
  • Maintain awareness of current road systems and conditions by monitoring news and traffic reports, adjusting routes as necessary to avoid delays.
  • Candidate should be attentive and available on immediate call basis at any time including weekends.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Male; 30 – 45 years and a native of South Western part of Nigeria
  • Proven experience as an executive driver
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
  • Familiarity with GPS devices
  • Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
  • Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
  • A polite and professional disposition
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
  • Minimum of a high school diploma.

 

Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Lagos
Resumption: Not later than 12th March, 2020.

The Role

  • Candidate will be responsible for the daily planning, organisation, supervision and administration of activities on farm estates particularly agricultural crop production and animal husbandry.

Job Duties

  • Analysing operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
  • Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understand expectations.
  • Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, livestock, and also perform tests on soil and water.
  • Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
  • Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
  • Deciding the type of crops to be planted, its quality, quantity, and mode of harvest, preparing detailed plans regarding its planting and harvesting schedules, and collaborating with farm operators, consultants and research institutes for carrying out these activities.
  • Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, and grain.
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
  • Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
  • Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Male or Female
  • 30 – 45 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Animal Science, or any other Agricultural related degree.
  • Extensive experience in a farming-related field.
  • Management experience would be a plus.
  • A passion for Agriculture.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience – post graduation not counting NYSC.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

Job Title: Executive Secretary

Location: Lagos
Resumption: Not later than 12th March, 2020.

The Role

  • Candidate shall be responsible for providing administrative support and duties which include but not limited to scheduling, writing correspondence, emailing, handling visitors, routing callers, and answering questions and requests.

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to office of the MD.
  • Schedule meetings and arrange conference rooms.
  • Alert manager about cancelations or new meetings.
  • Manage travel and schedule.
  • Handle information requests.
  • Prepare correspondence and mail into envelopes.
  • Arrange for outgoing mail and packages to be picked up.
  • Greet and receive visitor.
  • Prepare confidential and sensitive documents.
  • Determine matters of top priority and handle accordingly.
  • Prepare agenda for meetings.
  • Takes and transcribes dictation.
  • Plans events and volunteer activities.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Female
  • Degree in Secretariat Studies or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience – with at least 2 years in a similar role.
  • An analytical mind
  • Pitman shorthand will be an added advantage.

 

Job Title: Building Construction Manager

Location: Lagos
Resumption: Not later than 12th March, 2020.

The Role

  • Candidate will plan, direct, coordinate and budget, for activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Participate in the conceptual development of all our construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Job Duties

  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
  • Determine labour requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
  • Interpret and managements plans in contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and sub-contractors.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
  • Direct and supervise workers.
  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
  • Select, contract, and oversee workers and sub-contractors
  • Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs.
  • Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computers.
  • Direct acquisition of land for construction projects.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Male or Female
  • Minimum of first degree (B.Sc / HND) in Civil Engineering or Building Construction
  • Minimum of eight (8) years post qualification experience – post graduation not counting NYSC.
  • An analytical mind
  • Past experience in construction supervision is mandatory
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Ability to stick to time constraints.

 

Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Managing Director

Location: Lagos
Resumption: Not later than 12th March, 2020.

The Role

  • Candidate will support the Managing Director and assists him by performing a variety of administrative tasks to aid the managerial responsibilities without worrying about tasks.

Job Duties

  • Manage the daily / weekly / monthly agenda and arrange meetings, appointments, board meetings, conferences etc.
  • Attend meetings and keep minutes.
  • Receive and screen phone calls and redirect them as appropriate.
  • Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc)
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
  • Conduct research and prepare presentations or reports as assigned
  • Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Document expenses and hand in reports

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Male; Young and vibrant
  • Minimum of first degree (B.Sc / HND) in any discipline from a reputable university
  • Minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience – post graduation not counting NYSC.
  • Proven working experience as an executive assistant is an added advantage
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge and English proficiency
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
