Job Title: Technical Civil Manager – Expatriate
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology
- Master’s degree will be a plus
- Previous experience in a similar position within a construction company
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in a senior management role
- Previous experience in emerging markets / Nigeria
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Technical management of the civil department
- Regular reporting on civil activities (performance, management…)
- Updating on major resources statistics (equipment, staff histograms…)
- Regular updates on main material forecasts (concrete, reinforcement, asphalt, aggregates…)
- Coordination of support units e.g. Quantity Surveyors, QM, Surveyors…
- Design management for civil projects
- Cost controlling
- Estimation of small size projects
