Job Title: Interactive Learning Tutor
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Showcase technology solutions online and offline to education stakeholders and educators with a view to driving technology solution adoption.
- Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
- Run training for an educator.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc.
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience from a recognized basic or secondary school institution.
- Degree in Teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education
- Must be technology-savvy
- Must be conversant with the challenges of current technologies in learning spaces;
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have e working knowledge of education curriculum and standards
- Well-organized and committed
- Creative and energetic
- Strong moral values and discipline
- Knowledge of CPR
- Must be available to travel
