Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Yola
Contract: 1 year renewable contract

Duties

  • Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
  • Clean activity’s office, toilets, furniture and equipment’s
  • Perform necessary cleaning and washing of teacups, plates and cutleries;
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • O Level with a minimum of two (2) years working experience performing similar or related roles.

Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) both in Hausa and English language.

Job Title: IT Applications Support Assistant

Ref: IITA-HR-NRS2020-009
Location: Ibadan
Contract: 3-year renewable contract

Duties

  • Deploy applications to end-users, notably in terms of ERPs, Oracle and MS Dynamics including the related add-ons and portal like numerous Oracle Add-on (WEB, ADI, Oracle reporting, etc) and HR Self-Service.
  • Carryout small scale custom application programming /improvement bug fixing using C#, SQL Server, bootstrap, javascript, and similar technologies/languages, occasionally revising database replication and design;
  • Assist users on functional matters related to the application, notably ERPs related to travel management vehicle request and annual employee appraisal system;
  • Provide functional / configuration related support on SharePoint related solution like guiding users to correctly upload files to various SharePoint application;
  • Troubleshoot miscellaneous issues related to all the above and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction towards IT Unit;
  • The internal customer base consists of users both at the headquarters and at the stations. Supporting the latter happens remotely using adequate tools (SysAid ticketing, Team Viewer remote assistance system, etc.);
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • OND in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar or related roles.

Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of most common programming languages and customer support orientation
  • Prior experience on ERPs is a and added advantage.

Job Title: Driver / Logistics Assistant

Duties

  • Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
  • Drive activity vehicle in safe and courteous manner and support field operations
  • Perform necessary cleaning and washing of assigned vehicle as needed
  • Maintain activity vehicle and provide timely advice to transport office of any assigned vehicle requiring maintenance services in line with IITA Vehicle Usage and Maintenance Policy
  • Act as a field assistant in collecting data when travelling with Activity experts and other team members for field, training or meeting activities
  • Perform logistics work such as meeting visitors at the airport, delivering message around FCT, gathering information and providing relevant lead/guide and monitor delivery of essential Activity materials.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification

  • National Diploma in Agriculture or related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ working experience performing similar or related roles with possession of valid driver’s license.

Competencies:

  • Have the capacity to work in a team.
  • Have versatility of driving varying automobiles in host country roads.
  • Experience in farming operations.
  • Good knowledge of government, donor and private sector companies’, offices and ability to deliver messages effectively.
  • Basic computer skills.

Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

  • Assist in day to day Activity administrative duties
  • Provide logistical support for all Activity trainings, seminars and workshops
  • Keep inventory of office equipment and supplies
  • Assist in the preparation of requests for internal purchases and Purchase Orders of office stationery, machineries, and assist in the following up and handling of purchases/oracle requests
  • Assist in basic financial record posting and verification on the budget
  • Coordinate and implement office procedures for smooth-running and effective office functioning
  • Maintain an effective filing system and safe keeping of confidential documents
  • Arrange appointments and meetings for Activity staff
  • Retrieve information, data and documents for Activity Experts
  • Prepare administrative and financial reports
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc HND in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration or related field with minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing similar or related roles.

Competencies:

  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel Word and PowerPoint).
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented multicultural environment.
  • Have ability to multitask and work effectively within strict deadlines.
  • Have ability to deliver accurate and timely reports.
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision and with tight deadlines. Have good command of English Language.
  • Have ability to communicate in one or more of northern Nigeria’s major languages is an advantage.
