Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standard
  • Inspect building structures to determine the need for repairs and innovations
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize cost
  • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, electricity etc) and refurbishments
  • Supervise all staff facilities (custodians, technicians etc) and external contractors within the premises
  • Control activities like waste disposals, use of equipment and proper allocation of resources
  • Forecast, prepare and implement monthly budget for building use and facility maintenance
  • Develop and implement schedule for regular evaluation of facilities
  • Initiate interventions to solve problems in facilities
  • Put in place strategies to promote the organization standard and culture

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years cognate experience
  • First degree holder in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Well versed in technical/engineering operations and facility management at its best
  • Professional certification in facility management or relevant field will be added advantage

Job Title: Procurement Support Manager

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terns
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organizational partnerships
  • Forecast prices and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer supplier power
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis as well as benchmarking
  • Partner with reliable stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Determine quantity, quality and timing of all deliverables
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
  • Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

Requirements

  • Proven work experience with at least five (5) years cognate experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Executive or Head of Procurement
  • Experience in a FMCG manufacturing company is added advantage
  • First degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply or related field
  • Experience in collecting and analysing data
  • Professional certification is added advantage
  • Talent in negotiation, sourcing and procurement techniques
  • Good knowledge of suppliers and dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Aptitude in decision making and numeracy skills
  • Must be able to build a network of suppliers and stakeholders

Job Title: Safety Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
  • Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
  • Evaluate practices, procedures and policies to assess risk and adherence to safety laws
  • Conduct and facilitate trainings and presentations on health, safety and environment matters as well as accident prevention
  • Monitor compliances to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
  • Inspect equipment and machineries to observe possible unsafe conditions
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses to discover cause and forestall reoccurrences

Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Designing, maintaining, implementing and improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment, products or systems for industrial purposes
  • Performing wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer assisted design or engineering equipment
  • Install, repair and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment
  • Make decisions based on technical documents
  • Performing quality testing and inspections
  • Work as a team member to complete projects
  • Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes
  • Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials

Job Title: MS/SS Welder

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and measurement to plan layouts
  • Weld small and large components such as plants and machineries
  • Ability to use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that performs the same job
  • Maintain and repair all machineries when necessary
  • Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
  • Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat resistant gloves, protective masks and safety shoes
  • Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
  • Work as a team member to complete workshop projects or duties
  • Weld components in flat, vertical and overhead positions

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent
  • Journeyman certification in welding
  • Minimum of three years cognate experience
  • Experience in an industrial setup will be added advantage
