Job Description

  • A new supermarket needs the expertise of a Supermarket Consultant who has experience in the retail industry.
  • We’re looking for a dedicated professional with a proven track record of helping retail businesses increase their sales numbers and improving their associates’ performance.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing our business situation and providing a fresh perspective. You will discover the most suitable solutions whether it is proposing a new IT system or implementing a full strategic plan.
  • A great Supermarket Consultant is an expert in matters concerning their field. They have an excellent skill in identifying the cause of problems and presenting their solutions in a comprehensive and detailed manner. If you are this person, we would like to meet you.
  • The goal is to help our business be more functional and successful. We need someone who can Translate business requirements into system requirements, Ensure that new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices and that all issues/concerns are understood, documented and addressed satisfactorily.

Responsibilities
Market Study &Suggestions Of Feasibility:

  • Analyze market competition, potential markets, potential sources of revenue, sales projections. We need someone who can market study and put forward some suggestions on strategy, selection and systems implementation based on their environment & objectives.

Estimation &Cost Working:

  • Determine the business estimation and cost and also evaluate the core element of the business.
  • You will provide us with an estimation after proper and clear forecasting.

Layout Preparation:

  • The objective of layout preparation is to organize the store layout in a systematic way prior to execution. It involves deriving the parameters such as cash counter no, running feet of shelving area, no. of racks, PCs, and more.
  • We would expect our Supermarket Consultant to understand the practicality and help us in this to allow a comfortable shopping pathway for customer’s free movement.

License & Documentation And Work Guidance:

  • It is mandatory for our supermarket to obtain license and legal documents to prevail in the market and to be listed in any government listings of business. Legalized business is always on the safe side.
  • We would expect our Supermarket Consultant to provide all the necessary license and documentation work guidance for our business.
  • Ensuring that we are updated and keeping us sound at business and at mind.

Software Implementation:

  • Technology is changing the world day-by-day. Most of the supermarkets are moving towards the technological aspect. We would expect you to guide us with the right technology and most updated version of software for robust retail environments. We would also expect you to handle the manpower training,

Category Finalization & Guidance:

  • Merchandise should be separated by different categories, and customers are encouraged to search for items kept in semi-separate areas created by walls, displays or fixtures.
  • This separation stimulates customer curiosity. Hence, we can say category finalization plays a very crucial role and our Supermarket Consultant should help us with all the guidance required for the same.

Manpower & Training:

  • Working with the HR Consultants in the hiring and training of competent staff.

System Implementation:

  • A standard operating procedure (SOP) for a retail store covers a wide range of operations, including fraud, design, visual merchandising, cash, security, customer service, sales and more.
  • They streamline repetitive tasks and create consistency, reliability, and predictability in operations.
  • You will help us with the implementation of SOP that helps the retailers to ensure efficiency in work and profit accumulation.

Vendors & Supplied ( Identification Guidance:

  • The quality of our supplies needs to be consistent. You will assist us with analyzing our business requirements, & searching for the right vendors, distributors from the right market with reliable service.

Inauguration Support:

  • We believe the first impression is the best impression. A grand inauguration event provokes excitement, curiosity, and a sense of community.
  • We would need you to help us come up with grand inauguration ideas, market your event effectively, and execute it with the latest trends.
  • We also would need you to implement online/offline/other campaigns that help create awareness around our brand, build relationships with the community and more.
