Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Dispensing appropriate dosage of prescription and OTC drugs to patients.
  • Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician prescriptions.
  • Checking of patient’s health records to determine adverse reactions to medications.
  • Provides medicines information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.
  • Removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory and supervising the work results of support personnel.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Proven experience as a pharmacist.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach to Integrity and compassion.
  • Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.
  • Understanding of MS Office and Pharmacy information systems.
  • Good organizing skills.

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Work under the supervision of a pharmacist in preparing prescription and giving medications.
  • Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Organises medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions.
  • Maintains records by recording and filing physiciansТ orders and prescriptions.
  • Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients
  • Maintains confidentiality of patientsТ information.

Requirements

  • A Pharmacy Technician certification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, problem solving and good team player.
  • Self-motivated and good attitude to work, flexible and organised.
  • Maintains honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and high levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times.
  • Ability to use computer for daily operations is essential but not mandatory
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • 1-2 years work experience
  • Candidates should reside within Ebuta Metta and its environs.

Job Title: CHEW / Healthcare Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced individual with passion, drive and high professional standards of care, working under supervision in assisting with care needs as required.
  • Operating cash registers, and restocking inventory.
  • Receives, records, and stores medications coming into the pharmacy.
  • Maintains stock of prescription medications and informs the pharmacist of inventory needs.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate should possess relevant qualifications from a recognised Government institution and licensed by the community health board of Nigeria.
  • Must have worked in a community pharmacy.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Strong healthcare knowledge
  • Organisation skills.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • 1+ years experience in a similar role.

  • Analysing the chemical compounds of drugs and its effects.
  • Adhere to safety and health regulations
  • Ensuring the organisation and cleanliness of all work areas, as well as supervising the appropriate disposal and storage of utensils and materials.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Pharmacology with a minimum of one year work experience in a community pharmacy.
  • Candidates must have completed NYSC.
  • Excellent written and good oral communication skills
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and execute task in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Completing database back-ups to secure information.
  • Store completed documents in designated location.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete data
  • Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Diploma in Health Information Management and related fields.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Formal computer training would be an advantage.
