Job Summary

  • The job holder will oversees the general functioning of the healthcare. Manages the financial wellbeing of the healthcare facility, implements policy and manages the medical and non-medical staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with 3 years in Health Maintenance Organization
  • First Degree graduate of an accredited college or university in medical sciences
  • Good knowledge of the drug development and commercialization process and an understanding of the functions within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations
  • Ability to communicate and interact thoughtfully, transparently and appropriately with a variety of internal and external clients
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with demonstrated data analysis and handling skills
  • Excellent team dynamics skills, with strong team leadership and participation

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in critical planning meetings to develop objectives and implement strategies and procedures
  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the facility, managers must secure the financial stability of the establishment
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
  • Direct and Oversight of daily general operations of the clinic area
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Develop and implement effective policies for all operational procedures and prepare work schedules
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
  • Monitor and replace failing and outdated equipment and maintain adequate amounts of healthcare supplies
  • Fostering strong communication across medical staff and non-medical staff, managers create an efficient work environment
  • Develop and implement new roles to ensure that the workforce adapts to meet the needs of patients and service users linking with clinical services
  • Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals and ensure compliance
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
