Job Title: Engineering Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Production Equipment and the Engineering Team sitewide for providing optimum availability during production use.
  • Provides technical and general Engineering support services for production facilities (FMCG)
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance planning for the factory production equipment
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of plant machines and equipment in order to reduce downtime.
  • Participation in the design, construction and installation of production line
  • Perform routine checks and autonomous maintenance on production machines
  • Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance through part replacement or modification of existing one.
  • Support other team members like fitter and electrician, Production and QA/QC Team.
  • Manages the stock of essential economic order quantities of the engineering consumables
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment on HSE (Health Safety and Environment) issues
  • Complying with applicable Engineering regulations and standards

Qualification and Skills

  • Minimum of Degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required
  • 10+ years in Engineering positions
  • 3+ years Engineering management/supervisory experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods
  • Impeccable communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to others
  • Industry certification a plus
  • Working Knowledge of HSE requirements

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

  • Carry out both breakdown and preventive maintenance of manufacturing machines and Equipments
  • Ensuring that the generator and other utility equipment are in good working conditions
  • Remain in compliance with current Regulations that pertain to electrical work
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
  • Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation
  • Use blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans

Qualifications and Skills

  • OND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent required
  • 5+ years experience in the electrical trade

Job Title: Production Technical Operator

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that machines are set up ready for production at the beginning of the shift.
  • Ensure that raw materials are is feed into the production line and the correct rate to avoid clogging of the production line
  • Ability to identify recurring defects on production line and take proactive action to solve them
  • Ensure that the Production rate and Quality rate of equipments under his/her care is meeting Company requirements
  • Provide needed information to Production Supervisor in the case of more difficult technical problem arises
  • Monitor the production process and ensure all other operatives are synchronised to get the optimum output
  • Carry out basic daily maintenance checks on machine and ensure that machines and work area are clean always

Qualification and Skills

  • Minimum of OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required
  • 5+ years experience working in similar Production Environment
  • Previous experience as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Operator
  • Strong work ethic
