Job Title: Recording Studio Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

  • We are seeking a driven, experienced individual to manage our recording studio. As the studio manager, you would be expected to supervise the daily operations of our studio.
  • Offering the support necessary to deliver the Participation in this dynamic industry requires unending evaluation of operational processes to ensure compliance and adherence to the overall mission of the brand.
  • Maintaining accurate records, regularly preparing and communicating reports.
  • Managing day-to-day operations, including studio inventory and supplies, safety and security, and space allocation/utilization
  • Actively participating in defining short and long-term goals, policies, and procedures; monitoring all activity to identify necessary changes.
  • Maintaining a diverse staff, adhering to the studios mission; delivering assignments; recruiting, scheduling, and training staff; resolving employee concerns
  • Ensure proper adherence to terms of usage of the studio.

Qualification & Key competencies

  • A degree in Broadcasting, Communications or any related field.
  • Broadcast sales, sales management, and mentoring experience, with a proven track record of success in the media sector.
  • Experience with inventory management, promotions, and collections.
  • Highly developed managerial/leadership skills, including training, coaching, delegating, and motivating staff.
  • Passionate and goal-oriented, particularly toward sales, sales training and education, and client relations.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of constituencies.
  • Knowledge of on-air and broadcasting processes, procedures, operations, and standards.
  • Knowledge of fiscal management principles; ability to define short- and long-term goals and develop/manage strategies
  • Ability to operate studio equipment.

Job Title: Community Associate (Intern)

Location: Lagos

About The Role
A Community Associate is the primary point of contact for the community and acts as the “face” of Workcity. They support the Community Management team within their building to achieve the following:

  • Create a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and building relationships between members.
  • Ensure that your building is fully operational and processes are running efficiently.
  • Drive growth and promotion of Workcity-provided service offerings.
  • Take direction from the Community Lead and the Community Manager to support the Community Team as necessary.
  • All while illustrating Workcity’s core values and working to wards achieving our mission.

Key Responsiblities
Greeting / Point of Contact:

  • Be the first and last point of contact for your building.
  • Cover the front desk during business hours.
  • Greet and check-in member guests.
  • Greet people who come in for tours, track walk-ins, schedule tours, and send confirmation emails.
  • Facilitate We Member check-ins and check-outs.
  • Prepare and distribute promotional materials to guests/potential members.
  • Answer “walk-up” member and guest questions or refer inquirer to additional resources.

Membership Management:

  • Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications.
  • Be active on the Workcity member network.
  • Tackle member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community.

Events and Community Management:

  • Make posters for events.
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of events, including ordering food and beverages.
  • Prepare newsletter.
