Job Brief

  • We are looking for an IT Administrator to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
  • You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.

About Your Job

  • The primary role of IT Administrators is to oversee and maintain all aspects of CLL computer infrastructure, marketing digital and all social media platforms. This includes maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems.
  • IT Administrators manage the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential threats to a company’s network.
  • IT Administrators also monitor the use of email, create and change passwords, make suggestions for improvements to computer systems, backup data and perform data recovery if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Running regular checks on network and data security.
  • Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.
  • Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
  • Develop, upgrade and manage the company’s websites and social medial platforms.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewall.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
  • Generating performance reports for operating systems.
  • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Set up accounts and workstations.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  • Remaining up to date with advances in technology.

Requirements
The candidate is expected to meet the following criteria required to perform the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
  • Experience with graphics and web designing.
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects in a fast-pace environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey a sense of urgency, openness to new ideas, inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, and respect.
  • Excellent presentation skills to individuals and groups.
  • Proven abilities in account prospecting and management.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
  • Professional and mature attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Proficient in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook, CRM, Sage and ability to quickly learn industry related windows software.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
