Job Title: Chef

- Responsible for all food production including that used for quick service restaurant, buffet & private functions and wholesale distribution.
- Develop menus, food purchase specifications, recipes and junior level staff supervision.
- Develop and monitor food and labor budget for the department. Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards.
- Prepare awesome meals for our customers
- Work well under pressure and within the time limit
- Ensures that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen area at all times
- Help lead and inspire our kitchen staff with the Kitchen Operations Manager
- Develops standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation which help to assure consistently high quality
- Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes
- Deliver on turnaround service delivery
- Check food and ingredients for freshness
- Arrange and garnish dishes
- Minimum of SSCE certificate
- Qualification in Culinary Arts from an accredited culinary school is preferred
- 5 – 10 years’ experience as a Cook in a QSR or commercial kitchen, with 3 years as a senior cook
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and process management skills
