We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Abuja

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • University degree in Social Science, Business Management or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with administrative and secretarial skills is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with international NGOs is an advantage.
  • Experience with large complex organization preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Assistant Under the Supervision of the Admin Officer, will equally provide support to the Contract & Grants Officer, in the administration and tracking of contracts, grants, task orders and cooperative agreements, supporting the reviewing of subagreement and subcontracting implementation activities and contractual arrangements to ensure they meet with donor and organizational regulations.

Job Title: Facility / Administrative Assistant

Job Description

  • Facility / Administrative Assistant Under the direction of the Administrative Officer, the Facility/ Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the provision of administrative and logistical services to the Finance directorate, assist in the maintenance of an efficient records/storage of all office supplies, inventories, office equipment records, store records, effectively coordinating the supplies and distributions of all office consumables and provides consistent support to the Admin.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • University degree or HND in Engineering, Structural Science.
  • Familiarity with administrative and secretarial skills is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with international NGOs is an advantage.
  • Experience with large complex organization preferred

Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer

Location: Abuja

Details

  • Senior Compliance Officer the position holder ensures compliance with AHNi and funder policies, procedures, the management and reduction of general risk to the organization.
  • S / he will carry out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards by which AHNi’s financial resources are managed.
  • S / he will review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and the safeguard of assets.
  • S / he will plan, perform and report back on internal audits to ensure that financial control, financial guidelines of funder organizations and other control procedures in purchasing, procurement and contracting are in place and are being properly implemented and managed within AHNi offices.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BSc in Accounting or Finance with 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs that includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience in internal control function
  • MS / MA in accounting or finance or related field with 7-9 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience in internal control function
  • Experience in accounting and accounting principles sufficient to prepare complex and detailed financial and budgetary analyses
  • Experience in financial reporting, and financial management systems applications
  • Familiarity with USAID or similar donor-funded programs is required
  • CPA. ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required
  • Oversees internal control experience is an advantage

Job Title: Finance & Administrative Assistant

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • Finance & Administrative Assistant Under the direction of the Accountant, the Finance and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the provision of accounting, administrative, and logistical support services to AHNi HQ as well as to the state offices.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration
  • Experience with administrative and secretarial skills
  • Sound accounting skills
  • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs prefer
