We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Network Operation Centre (NOC) Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Permanent

Job Description

  • To ensure maximum possible Service Availability and Performance
  • To provision Network Elements (NE) by providing Passive Sources
  • To provide Support Services for Field Engineers and other technical teams
  • These result in a highly diverse range of duties for the NOC – invariably, due diligence and attention to details are key skills, along with an ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately.
  • Importantly, our NOC engineers must have a solid understanding of IPT’s experience and processes; must be eager and quick to learn, be clear communicators and must be able to use their initiative to tackle a broad range of problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors, Escalates and provides necessary assistance to field engineers in ensuring that sites are live (99.99% of the time)
  • Manage and maintain IPT’s Monitoring Systems in order to report network status and boost performance for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), ISPs (as tenants) and other facilities.
  • Execute fault handling and escalation while identifying and responding to these cases on the network, liaising with 3rd party contractors for site integrity during Passive Planned Maintenance.
  • Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration, particularly with regard to IPT’s architecture.
  • Tier 2 Support for co-location.
  • Ensure 99.9% Availability of Power at all sites, therefore interpreting external alarms to the latter
  • Conduct routine checks by logging details of Generator RH, DL and RS while validating PPM references with Service Desk.
  • Ensure detailed implication of MTTR in order to surpass SLA
  • Team-player with persuasive characteristics to support field Engineers remotely
  • Perform any other tasks as stated by line managers

Job Title: Site / Project Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • Will oversee and supervise projects from beginning to end within the technical department in line with IPI Powertech Nigeria’s business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Implement project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis, and devise contingency plans.
  • Deliver project with the required conditions.
  • Conduct project evaluation review to assess project success.
  • Adopt recommendations where necessary.
  • Ensure excellent customer focus.
  • Build Customer Relationship and maintain it.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, required documentation, and presentations to client.
  • Develop customer relationship and associated communications documents.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Deliver projects within set time and cost budget.
  • Coach and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

Requirements

  • First degree in relevant Engineering field.
  • Professional qualification in Project Management is a must.
  • Five (5) years experience handling different projects within the telecoms industry with at least 4 years in managerial level.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills with Subordinates, Seniors and Clients.
  • Must be technically sound.
  • Excellent data analysis (MS Excel expert) and problem-solving skills.
  • Auto CAD is a necessity.
