Job Title: Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarise financial status
  • Provide technical support and advice on management
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Plan, assign and review staff’s work
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc Accounting, 5 years experience with at least 3 years in working in a supermarket or retail food environment
  • Age: 27-35 years
  • Conversant in cost accounting
  • Conversant with all necessary regulatory bodies around the food industry
  • Analytical, Exceptional in excel package
  • Can multi-task.

Job Title: Operation Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Grade Level: Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for both operational and people management.
  • Organize stock and equipment, order supplies, organize delivery and oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security
  • Perform other stock-related duties ensuring FIFO is the standard practice within the business
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stock room
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
  • Recruit new staff, train and develop existing staff
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, motivate and encourage staff to achieve targets
  • Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained
  • Implement and instill in your team company policies, procedures and ethics
  • Handle customer complaints and queries
  • Implement branded promotional campaigns from head office, including the handling of point-of-sale promotional materials, or devise your own promotional campaigns
  • Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation
  • Report to, and attend regular meetings of operations
  • Establish relationships with the local community and undertake activities that comply with the company’s corporate social responsibility programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BSc in Food Science and Technology with at least 7 years post NYSC experience, experience in food storage, cold chain management and hygiene in food and meat preparation with knowledge of regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
  • Age: 30-40 years, Female, Comfortable with social media, Good business skill, Exposed to Accounting, HR and Admin.
  • Microsoft Office package and above average in Excel, Good communication skills, a foodie.
  • Can think outside the box, can multi-task, willing to pursue a career and grow the business (stake holder).

Job Title: Retail Sales Marketer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory / market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitiveactivities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Requirements

  • B.Sc with minimum of 5 years experience in sales (particularly direct sales) & marketing (preferably in food industry)
  • Female, Age: 25-35
  • Extrovert, Good with social media, Conversant with e-commerce
  • Can think outside the box, Can multi-task.
