Job Title: Finance Officer

Reference: FO
Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Business Financial Plan and Analytics.
  • Review working capital/cash flow requirement on a regular basis
  • Monitor banking activities and ensure regular reconciliations of all transactions.
  • Develop plans, budgets, forecasts and financial results to guide management decisions by forecasting requirements; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Present operating and capital expenditure budgets for review and approval.
  • Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements
  • Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors (Internal and External Auditors)- Manage relationship with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. CBN. FIRS, State(s) Internal revenue Service, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a Finance related field. Must be BOTH a qualified /certified Accountant: ACA and ACCA / CFA charter holder
  • Minimum of 10 years financial experience, with at least 5 years in Senior Financial Management capacity spanning Business Planning, Revenue Assurance, and Accounting with excellent’ knowledge of Banking.
  • Demonstrable understanding of modern digital financial services financials as well as advanced business finance and financial reporting.
  • Possess Strong budget and management skills, including proven ability to manage project/process.
  • High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.

 

Job Title: Risk Officer (Operation & Liquidity Risks)

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, mitigate, monitor and report operational and liquidity risk
  • Review internal and external audit reports to extract relevant risk and control information for use in reporting, remediation and system improvement.
  • Monitor and act on any PKI/KRI adverse trends that arise.
  • Track and analyze incidences of frauds (successful and attempted).
  • Identify causes and implement with respective units measures to close loopholes.
  • Business process reviews and improvements.
  • Develop business continuity framework and plans for the bank and follow up with respective units on their implementation.
  • Provide liquidity report detailing funding position, funding needs, funds management, etc vide such repost such as liquidity coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding ratio (NSFR) etc.
  • Provide guidance for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements with respect to liquidity.
  • Participate in regulatory review process.
  • Develop an inter departmental Service Level Agreement to assist the Bank in achieving efficiency and effectiveness in business measurements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good University degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or business related discipline
  • 2 years post NYSC relevant experience in a financial institution.

 

Job Title: Risk Officer (Compliance & Regulatory / Information Risk)

Key Responsibilities

  • Mastermind compliance and protocols on behalf of the organization.
  • Implement and supervise the bank compliance program to include ALM and deposit regulations. Direct the development of training applicable to AML etc.
  • Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organization operates in accordance with statutory and state and federal laws. Develop compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them.
  • Review and ensure all products are in full compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines. Perform compliance audits to determine full adherence to established protocols.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the cyber security programs of the Bank.
  • Responsible for monitoring all processes that have to do with information exchange, including firewalls usage.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good University degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or business related discipline
  • 2 years post NYSC relevant experience in a financial institution.

 

Job Title: Treasury Officer (Money Market)

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Manage local currency and other money market exposure of the bank
  • Responsible for forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements
  • Daily cash Management and all local currency investment related decisions
  • Asset and Liability Management
  • Balance Sheet and Liquidity Management

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good University degree in Accounting, Finance or business related discipline (Chartered Accountancy will be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable bank with at least 5 of them in a well-structured Treasury Department of the Bank

 

Job Title: Treasury Officer (Forex Trading)

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Manage foreign currency exposure and foreign transactions
  • Responsible for forecasting of medium and long- term FOREX funding and hedging requirements (if applicable)
  • Daily cash Management and all FOREX investment related decisions
  • Create logistics and functionalities for the bank to grow its FOREX reserve
  • Asset and Liability Management

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good University degree in Accounting, Finance or business related discipline (Chartered Accountancy will be an advantage)

Job Title: Group Head, Banking Operations

Reference: GHB
Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • This role incorporates all aspects of contact with the Bank’s customers through Customer Services, Service Quality, Cash management and Teller; and managing the centralized Back Office Function, which includes Treasury operations, clearing and Settlement, Agent / Merchant Operations and Management Information Technology, Funds Transfer etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, develop and maintain front office operations and support structure while putting in place processes to achieve superior delivery of customer service at all times;
  • Manage Bank’s exposure to external and internal risks at the service delivery front, adherence to procedures, optimum cash management within set limits, and physical security of bank’s assets;
  • Responsible for bank -wide operations. Manage Branch operations including the branch operations service managers’! regional service managers and Head Office Operations staff:
  • Responsible for establishing standards for work- related policies and procedures,
  • Monitor and create control reporting to track performance of system and process integrity, vendors, internal workflows and SLAs;
  • Put in place an MIS system that will enable continuous tracking of the department’s performance, monitoring of customer satisfaction and provision of management reports;
  • Identify, develop and set-up new business locations and improve alternative service delivery:
  • Manage a business continuity plan for service delivery, effectiveness and efficiency:
  • Put in place a quality management system of international standards that ensures service quality;
  • Review services provided at the branches to ensure that customers receive services efficiently;

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in relevant professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Accounting and related Social Sciences field from a reputable institution;
  • Minimum of 15 years financial experience, with at least 5 years in Senior Management with excellent knowledge of Banking
  • Demonstrable understanding of modern digital financial services (Mobile Money, Agency, payment, Collection, Channels, Payment Cards etc., )
  • Experience, awareness and appreciation of all aspects of balance sheet management banking;
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory issues as well as global best practices.
  • Possess Strong budget and management skills, including proven ability to manage project/process. quality assurance.
  • High degree of professionalism, maturity, tech-savvy and knowledgeable of current trends.
