Job Title: Head, Transactional Control

Location: Sangotedo Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Essential Duties/Key Job Roles And Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:

  • Ensure adequacy of systems and processes to secure the organisation’s revenues and resources.
  • Responsible for verification of all transactions prior to monthly closure of accounts
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliation of bank and cash accounts and resolution of all un-reconciled items.
  • Responsible for review and call over of all transaction entries
  • Ensure proper accounting for investments and maintain adequate records of same
  • Monitoring of cash transactions: control over daily cash transactions and ensure prompt retirement of cash advances.
  • Ensure effective and efficient administration of Fixed Assets records.
  • Ensure adequacy of inventory management processes
  • Ensure adequacy of records management in the Finance Department
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by line manager from time to time

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s qualification with 5-7 years work experience.

Generic Skills:

  • Proficiency in core accounting.
  • Proficiency in use of SAGE Accounting software
  • Numerical and analytical competence.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Organization and planning skills
  • Communication skills

Competencies:

  • Very sound grasp of accounting principles and application
  • Proficiency in use of SAGE and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Internal Control principles and procedures

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Sangotedo, Ajah – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Essential Duties / Key Job Roles And Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial & administrative tasks. Handle correspondence on behalf of the COO
  • Manage the COO’s meetings ; ensuring adequate administrative and secretarial support
  • Manage the COO’s diaries and appointments.
  • Meeting and receiving visitors on behalf of the COO
  • Take notes, minutes, dictations and summaries for meetings
  • Conduct background research & present findings to the COO
  • Provide effective liaison between the COO’s office and staff, clients and other relevant organizations.
  • Work closely with other departments requiring information from the office of the COO
  • Manage information and data including filling & records tracking
  • Maintain database of contacts and be innovative in the use of contact information.
  • Provide protocol; manage travel arrangements for the COO
  • Manage ad hoc and specific projects as assigned by the COO

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience.

Job Title: Research Assistant

Location: Sangotedo Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of Position

  • Assist in the compilation, analysis and writing up of data and materials for research and its publication (articles, chapters, books, reviews, etc.). Assist in data gathering, compilation and development of case studies. Provide support to faculty’s work (research and administrative support).

Essential Duties/Key Job Roles And Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:

  • Carry out research with faculty (source for and gather data, review literature, analyze data, etc.).
  • Conduct preliminary studies and other fact finding assignments to facilitate research activities.
  • Write up, read up, and review research constantly
  • Seek out industry contacts for technical data and cases studies.
  • Liaise with industry managers for business data verification.
  • Interview firms to extract information for case studies, books, etc.
  • Develop and present complex reports on assigned tasks.
  • Develop self to enhance professional growth and quality of work.
  • Any other relevant responsibility assigned by faculty and line manager from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Good first degree
  • Professional Qualification- Masters or research degree is an added advantage.
  • Experience in data collation/analysis in a medium or large scale organization or research institution.

Skills Requirements:

  • Good quantitative and qualitative research methodology and data analysis skills
  • Good computer skills (including mastery of Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
