Golden Seed Fats & Oil is an agri-processor focused on the conversion of oil seeds and pulses into their derivative products. Golden Seed Fats & Oil has a factory in Benin-City with a processing capacity for palm nuts of 155,000 metric tonnes per annum. We process Palm Kernels into industrial grade Palm Kernel oil, Palm Kernel cake and Palm kernel shells.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Minimum Requirements
- First degree in accounting or any other related social science course
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Ms Word, Ms Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sound knowledge of at least one accounting software will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare regular financial status reports (daily, weekly, monthly, as may be required)
- Prepare periodic bank reconciliation.
- Stock Management.
- Liaise with and provide information to Regulators and Auditors.
- Vendor Management and Reconciliation of balances with Vendors
