We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Associate

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


  • The Human Resource Associate is responsible for all generalist HR activities, specifically reviewing and advising on HR policies and processes across the business, coordinating human resources administrative functions, providing support in delivering strategic Human resources initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing support, in line with business strategy and company policy with regards to areas such as discipline, grievance, absence management, policy interpretation
  • Provide support to the Group HR Manager and manage HR related projects with regards Reward and Recognition, Employee Engagement, HRIS, Talent Development
  • Work with the Leadership Team of the relevant Business Units to support the development of a High Performance, fully engaged team
  • Assist in implementing of recruitment & selection process:
    • Sourcing of CVS for new roles
    • Conducting interviews
    • Employment letters
  • Developing Job descriptions for both existing and new hires
  • Training & development Process:
    • Draw up a training plan in line with the appraisal report
    • Supervise & facilitate trainings
    • Evaluate the training
  • Facilitate performance appraisal process quarterly
  • Develop weekly, monthly & quarterly report to the Head HR.
  • Develop HR Policies and processes in line with ISO standard
  • Maintain personnel files and database
  • Assist in facilitating probation and employee confirmation process for new hires
  • Conduct orientation for new staffs
  • Maintain database for remuneration
  • Input employee information on the ERP
  • Draw up and review organogram for the groups periodically
  • Assist in ensuring discipline in the organisation
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Group Head HR

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience as Generalist Human Resource officer, Talent Management or related experience
  • Excellent knowledge of labour laws, employment legislation, HR systems, processes and procedure
  • Proven negotiation, consultation and facilitation skill
  • Excellent use of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and word
