Job Title: Autocad Instructor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Part-time
Job Description
- The job role involves the teaching of AUTOCAD.
- The goal is to deliver training in an efficient and hands-on manner in order for expected course outcomes to be achieved.
- Expertise in other related design software will be desirable
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and deliver course according to approved curriculum and standards during course duration
- Ensure the development of up-to-date course materials, teaching slides, and lesson plans
- Administer Assessment and class activities to reinforce learning
- Adhere to agreed training schedules and no. of expected course delivery man-hours
- To maintain accurate attendance records
- To conduct student evaluations in accordance with the Institute’s policies
- To make suggestion to the training administrator concerning improvements in curriculum
Qualifications/Requirements
- AutoCAD certification.
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of Two years’ experience in an AutoCAD instructor role.
- Experience in using CAD Applications such as: AutoCAD, Revit etc.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other current Engineering Design software tools will be desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must exhibit emotional stability and control.
Job Title: NDT Instructor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Part-time
Job Description
The job role involves the development and delivery of approved NDT training. It also requires instruction expertise in the following areas:
- Eddy Current Testing
- Ultrasonic testing – UT
- Magnetic particle testing – MPT/MT
- Liquid penetrant testing – PT/DPT
- Radiographic testing – RT
- Visual testing – VT
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and deliver NDT Training as set forth in the approved curriculum guidelines according to required standards for Non-Destructive Testing training.
- Manage class and laboratory (lab) activities to maximize the learning process
- Ensure the development of up-to-date course materials and teaching slides (if required)
- Liaise with training administrator to ensure smooth course delivery
- Administer Assessment
- Adhere to agreed training schedules and no. of expected course delivery man-hours
- To maintain accurate attendance records
- To conduct student evaluations in accordance with the Institute’s policies
- To make suggestion to the training coordinator concerning improvements in curriculum
Qualifications/Requirements
- ASNT NDT level III
- Minimum of Three years’ experience in an NDT Instructor role

- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ICT and MS office abilities.
