In its drive for consolidation and to respond to future challenges, the company desires to engage the services of competent and qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Manager (Investments)

Location: Bauchi
Division: Investment & Property Division

Main Responsibilities

  • Appraisal of Investment proposals submitted to the company by prospective co-investors.
  • Preparation and analysis of feasibility studies on prospective investment proposals.
  • Provide inputs on the generation of in- house investment projects
  • Monitor the stock market with a view to advice on which stocks to buy or sell and the appropriate timing of such transactions.

Educational Requirements and Experience

  • A good First Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics or any related field.
  • Post graduate qualification in any of the management sciences and professional qualification would be an added advantage.
  • The candidate should have, at least, 12 years working experience of which 5 must be at the management level.

Job Title: Manager (Investments)

Location: Bauchi
Division: Investment & Property Division

Main Responsibilities     

  • Insure effective management of portfolio holdings in quoted and unquoted companies and provides a periodic feedback to the Assistant General Manager.
  • Should be able to provide consultancy services such as preparation and analysis of  of feasibility studies, project monitoring and evaluation and Financial Counseling.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A first Degree or its equivalent in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economic, or any related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • At least, 6 Years cognate experience in investment sector.
  • A sound knowledge and experience in capital market operations, project feasibility and appraisal and project evaluation is essential.

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Bauchi
Division: Internal Auditor Department

Main Responsibilities     

  • Ensure that all payments are in line with the approeed budgets and or business
    plan(s)
  • Carry out investigations on identifiedd financial problems and proffer possible
    solution.
  • Examine revenue receipts and carry out pre and post audit of expenditure for accountability purposes.
  • Carry out periodic/routine Inspection/audit of all departments to make sure that they are working/performing according to laid down procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A first degree or equivalent, in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related discipline.
  • A post graduate qualification In related field from a recognized institution and membemhip of a professional accounting body-ANAN or ICAN.
  • He/she must have at least 8 years working experience in relevant field.
  • Computer literacy is to isessential.

Job Title: Officer I (Accounts)

Location: Bauchi
Division: Admin & Finance Division

Main Responsibilities     

  • Daily posting into the system the deposits and payment transactions
  • Prepare Bank reconciliation Statements
  • Ensure Trial Balance, Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheets are in order.
  • Reconcile on monthly basis the General Ledger Accounts, other than Banks, showing clearly what constitute them.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • 2 years work experience as an Account Officer or similar role.

Job Title: Secretary

Location: Bauchi
Division: Admin & Finance Division

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining executive’s agenda and assist in planning appointments, Board meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records to ensure the information is organized and readily accessible.
  • Conduct research and prepare presentations or reports
  • Compile, proofread and revise draft of documents and reports.
  • Develop memos, reports from verbal discussions/instructions.

Requirements

  • A degree or HND in secretarial studies or Business management.
  • Five (5) years working experience in executive support role
  • Proficiency in MS office.
  • Integrity and confidentiality.

Job Title: Officer I (IT)

Location: Bauchi
Division: Admin & Finance Division

Main Responsibilities

  • Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace faulty components.
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations.
  • Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate computer network access and use.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or related field with at least 3 years working experience.

Job Title: Authorised Dealing Clerk / Equities Trader

Location: Bauchi

Main Responsibilities

  • Deal origination and execution of mandates
  • Financial / Investment advice to clients and management.
  • Generation of new clients and ability to profitably manage all clients
  • Presentation of market analysis and reports in investment committee meetings
  • Reviewing equity transactions to make sure that trades conform to regulations of SEC, NSE, and Other Regulators.

Education Requirements and Experience

  • First Degree in any Social Science.
  • Strong sales and business acumen
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • A sponsored individual with SEC
  • Authorized Dealer with a minimum of 2 years trading experience.
  • A solid understanding of financial markets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS),
  • Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
  • Minimum 2 years trading experience preferably in a Stockbroking / investment management firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
