Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Design hiring plans for all hotel departments based on seasonal needs
  • Interview and assess job candidates
  • Manage compensation and benefits plans
  • Oversee employee attendance and working schedules, including paid time off, overtime and breaks
  • Onboard new hires
  • Report on employee turnover rates
  • Organize employee records, like contracts, paying special attention to work permits and visas
  • Implement employee retention programs (like end-of-season bonuses)
  • Schedule trainings for all hotel employees (for example, customer service skills training)
  • Act as the point of contact when employees have queries or job-related issues
  • Ensure hotel staff complies with relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Work experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • B.Sc in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or similar field.
  • 2 – 4 years work experience.
  • Experience in conducting interviews
  • Understanding of labor legislation with an emphasis on part-time and overtime regulations
  • Excellent communication skills.

Salary

Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties

  • Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments.
  • Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running the hotel.
  • Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the staffto receive & serve the guests.
  • Conduct regular operations team meeting with all the HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, feedback and action taken for service recovery, and also any staff issues. Minutes of the meeting to be sent to MD
  • Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks.
  • Monitor the purchase / indent / requestions of each department, the accounts receivable (collection from debtors) and the accounts payable (payable to the vendors / suppliers etc).
  • Randomly inspecting the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, parstock levels, expiry etc) with the F & B Manager & Chef.
  • Dealing with Suppliers / Vendors for quality products involving Purchase Manager and providing performance assessment of vendors every quarter to HO Purchase.
  • Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation.
  • Inspecting all department with their respective Manager’s for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
  • Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
  • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
  • Meet all dept. heads to review & train the staff to upkeep the human capital.
  • Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development
  • Conduct weekly / Daily meeting with marketing staff for enquiry & follow up to growthe business.
  • Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the organisation.
  • Be on available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems on emergencies.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the hotel.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Description

  • Ensure that the guests have best possible experience by trouble-shooting and resolving all billing-related disputes.
  • Represents the finance department on the daily department heads meeting with the general manager.
  • Prepare profit and loss account.
  • Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable and department budget.
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities.
  • Prepare financial statements and debtors’ listings.
  • Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management.
  • Reviewing all ledger details guest ledger, city ledger and deposit ledgers to validate proper payment and revenue posting.
  • Review the postings, payments, revenue and guest balance reports on a daily basis.
  • Follows up on any accounts within 3 days to ensure customer has received the invoice and does not have any questions.
  • Follow up 30 days after the initial billing if payment has not been received.
  • Check customers credit ratings and Flag accounts as ‘Black listed’ for long outstanding or defaulter accounts.
  • Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.
  • Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
  • Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts as required.
  • Performing numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusions and/or solutions.
  • Preparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities.
  • Monitors and contains all property inventories to ensure proper levels without causing burdens on property cash flows.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports for meetings and investors.
  • Working with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit.
