  • In this role you will focus on managing labour relations programs, collective agreements, policies and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for advice and leadership on employee and union relations.
  • You will advise management on labour law, regulatory requirements, fair employment practice and risk management.

As a Senior HR Manager – Labour Relations SSA, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing Employee Relations’ philosophy, guiding principles, and proactive risk assessment tools across SSA
  • Overseeing and managing Labour relations programs, collective agreements, policies and procedures
  • Advising management and stakeholders on Labour law, regulatory issues, risk management and current trends or significant changes
  • Working with cross-functional teams in the business and HR to implement and maintain positive, proactive working environment
  • Developing positive working relationships with Labour Union leadership and Regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Providing strategic and tactical guidance to the different business units and leading complex and multidisciplinary projects
  • Communicating with HR colleagues and business leaders about change of policy and implementation.
  • Performing as a highly competent Subject Matter Expert and delivering training to People leaders, employees and HR
  • Organizing knowledge sharing to convey information about new approaches and best practices
  • Providing Employee and Labour relations perspective for Benefits & Policy Development
  • Providing support to the Legal Department on litigations as required
  • Providing support to the company in handling third-party Labour Relation matters as required

Fuel Your Passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • Have 8 years hands-on experience in Employee Relations in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Have 8 years robust Union Negotiations and Labor Relations experience
  • Demonstrate effective negotiation and influencing skills
  • Be a skilled influencer with the ability to communicate complex messages to others
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and mentor others as well as great interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Display excellent oral and written communication, analytical, problem-solving and Project management skills
  • Be willing to travel extensively within Regional Coverage area
  • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (please indicate clearly on your CV)

  • As a Site Contract Performance Manager you will be overseeing the daily operations of your team, located onsite throughout Nigeria .
  • You will provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of multiple customer projects globally.
  • You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products and processes.

As a Site Contract Performance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the on-site project delivery for our customers to ensure issues are resolved and progress is on-track
  • Developing and agreeing design project deliverables to ensure contractual and functional requirements are met
  • Performing negotiations and contract administration on assigned proposals to ensure a reasonable quote
  • Advocating for the customer through providing support to our team on assigned contracts
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support for execution and delivery of customer projects and requirements
  • Reviewing maintenance plan in accordance with latest standards and policies and update internal tools accordingly.
  • Supporting customer for the storage of parts under the contract (covered units) and accomplish contract obligations successfully.
  • Supervising the application of HSE, quality, maintenance and engineering policies, procedures and systems to execute this agreement.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or a High School Diploma/GED with professional experience gained from a Services environment
  • Have 5 years experience in Services of Gas Turbine, Compressors, and industrial plants.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate experience of leading and motivating teams in a global-matrix environment to deliver multiple, successful customer projects
  • Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues
