Job Overview

  • Winock is seeking a committed and experienced operations expert to serve the organisation in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
  • The successful candidate will be highly experienced in operations planning, performance management, internal control, marketing and sales and information technology.
  • This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or related field
  • Master’s Degree or MBA will be highly advantageous
  • 7+ years’ experience in management positions with reputable organisations
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and management
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • A solid grasp of process improvement and modelling techniques
  • A strong understanding of technology and its application in business
  • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Deep expertise in MS Office, particularly, Word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to design, monitor and interpret performance management dashboards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Periodically create a sound operation plan to deliver the organisation’s short- and long-term objectives
  • Design an effective operations team structure
  • Recruit and train Staff members that are capable of implementing the operations plan
  • Plan and implement tools such as KPIs and balanced scorecard to monitor organisational performance
  • Develop and monitor a robust enterprise risk management framework
  • Identify and resolve operational issues
  • Design, implement and monitor internal control measures
  • Analyse operational trends and propose ideas to the CEO for effective decision making
  • Stay abreast of the technological landscape and constantly introduce ways in which technology can be leveraged within the organisation
  • Lead the marketing and sales manager in planning and implementing the organisation’s marketing strategy
  • Lead the business unit General manager in planning order fulfilment and collection targets and motivating the team members to meet the target
  • Provide weekly and monthly executive report to the CEO
  • Manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability
