We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Team Lead, IT Infrastructure Management

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities

  • To evolve, implement and maintain efficient datacenter, communication network and power infrastructure that will guarantee superior service delivery of the Bank to its customers (External and Internal)
  • Manage cloud infrastructure
  • Responsible for IT asset management to ensure asset’s full life cycle value is achieved.
  • Manage strategic relationships with key IT Infrastructure product and service providers
  • Provide in depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives
  • Assess the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and projects
  • Interface with business unit managers to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze and predict trends and develop long-range plans designed to maintain cost-effectiveness
  • Participate in IT strategy planning activities
  • ix. Develop the reporting schemes for vendor performance in areas that include quality, capacity, systems and responsiveness
  • Ensure the infrastructure team is mitigating, monitoring and managing infrastructure-related risks
  • Work closely with project team members line managers for time allocation and prioritization
  • xii. Manages a dynamic team of individuals, constantly searching for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of technology systems to meet business needs
  • Participate in the budget process

Qualification & Experiences

  • A University Degree or its equivalent qualification e.g. BSc / HND Computer Science/ Engineering etc.
  • Possession of relevant IT professional certification such as. CCNA, CISSP, CCNP, OCD, MCSD, MCSE, Sophos, Red Hat, Ubuntu, NetAPP etc. will be added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a middle management position

Key Performance:

  • Compliance level of vendors to pre-agreed SLAs/OLAs
  • Level of customer satisfaction with IT service delivery processes
  • Number of user complaints regarding deployed infrastructure
  • Number and value of sanctions received as a result of unresolved network/communication issues
  • Lapses identified by internal and external audit
  • Unscheduled network and communications downtime
  • Internal customer satisfaction level with network/communication standards
  • Frequency of security lapses via intrusions, virus attacks, etc.
  • Cycle time to process requests

Required Knowledge:

  • At least 7 years of IT experience including managing teams responsible for architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning.
  • Experience in areas such as network design and administration, data center operations, database administration, and systems programming and administration
  • Strong management and people development skills
  • Understanding of ITIL practices
  • Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external projects from inception to completion
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations with sound service orientation and strong Customer focus
  • Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions as well as documenting them and presenting them to senior management
  • Experience implementing packages and working with vendors

  • Familiar with enterprise application implementation, integration, and management
  • IT Security Management. Thorough knowledge of networking and the Internet as well as all aspects of security, including authentication, access control, intrusion detection, firewalls, encryption, data integrity, disaster prevention, and disaster recovery

  • Proficiency in major operating systems (Windows, HP, Unix and all variance of Linux, etc)
  • Proficiency in the use of NetApp Storage Device, VoIP, CISCO routers and switches, Sophos Firewall, Mikrotik Switches

Job Title: System Administrator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities

  • They offer technical support and troubleshoot any hardware and software problems related to server and storage devices.
  • The professional will handle issues concerning application and database server operations.
  • They do thorough research on upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining servers and networks.
  • Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances.
  • Performing system upgrades/patches following new releases.
  • Maintaining internal documentation of operational procedures, network equipment configurations and inventory of IT asset.
  • Performing account setup.
  • Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security.
  • Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.
  • Ensuring high-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output.
  • Ensuring adherence and strict compliance of defined IT security policies.
  • Maintaining and administering antivirus solutions on all client and server end systems bank wide and ensure that all systems antivirus protection software is up to date.
  • Monitoring the bank?s firewall and other security devices to ensure Liaising with the service providers/vendors to ensure that outsourced functions are carried out according to pre-agreed service level agreements there have been no breaches.
  • Monitoring, managing and administering the banks messaging & collaboration infrastructure, network, operating systems and other hardware infrastructure (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Proxy Server).
  • Liaising with the service providers/vendors to ensure that outsourced functions are carried out according to pre-agreed service level agreements

Qualification & Experiences

  • University Degree or its equivalent. B.Sc / HND in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline etc.
  • Possession of IT professional certification such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, MCP, CompTIA, Red hat, Ubuntu, Sophos, Mikrotik etc. are added advantage.
  • Three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar role

Required Knowledge:

  • Excellent knowledge of Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows)
  • Good working knowledge of Storage systems (NetApp, HP MSA, HP SAN Switch, NAS)
  • Proficiency managing of Temenos T24 Core Banking Application (R16 and above)
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Active Directory is required, as well as a deep understanding of networking protocols, components and procedures, LAN/WAN fundamentals, network management and administration.
