Job Title: PMC Principal Civil / Structural Engineer

Details

  • The individual will be responsible for all civil and structural engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contractors civil and structural engineering activities and ensure they are proceeding to the correct level of quality and in accordance with the project plans.
  • Interaction with other disciplines for all interfaces particularly Process, Piping, Pipelines, Instruments, Material Management and Project Engineering.
  • Co-ordination of civil and structural engineering activities for client.
  • Reviewing plot and site plans
  • Attend and contribute to design reviews.
  • Prepare, develop and write as required civil and structural engineering specifications, procedures and technical design instructions on behalf of client.

Job Description

  • The individual will be responsible for all pipeline engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the pipeline engineering activities for client and ensure that contractor deliverables conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the client policies and procedures
  • Provide direction and guidance on all pipeline technical queries relating to pipeline workscope
  • Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary
  • Review and check vendor document / data / information for compliance with the projects specifications.
  • Review of pipeline route selections

Job Title: PMC Senior Planning Engineer / Scheduler

Location: Lagos

  • The individual will be responsible for all planning and scheduling activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and scheduling activities on behalf of client team
  • Provide direction and guidance on all queries relating to electrical scheduling
  • Create and maintain various levels of project plans in accordance with client team procedures
  • Review plans and schedule data and advise of any potential delays and risks to the baseline schedule and budget

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to perform PMC activities on a major integrated refinery FEED
  • The individual will be responsible for all mechanical engineering activities on behalf of the client team which includes rotating equipment, pressure vessels, exchangers, fired equipment, packaged equipment, mechanical handling equipment and HVAC.
  • Individual with significant rotating equipment, packaged equipment and static equipment experience preferred.

Job Title: Deputy Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a PMC project team, which will include project engineering management, project engineering, engineering disciplines, project services, and third parties

Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis)

Details

  • Our client is seeking an experienced document controller to perform document management activities on a major integrated refinery and petrochemical complex FEED.
  • The individual will be responsible for project management activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work together within a client project team, which will include project engineering management, project engineering, engineering disciplines, project services, and third parties
  • Familiarize with the projects Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
  • Co-ordinate and manage access and permission rights to the EDMS, in conjunction with Project Manager and Engineering Managers
  • Provide support to the PMC team on all Document Control matters
  • Attend Kick off Meetings with engineering contractor
  • Maintain the Master Document Registers (MDRs)
  • Ensure documents are issued in a controlled manner via Document Transmittal Notices (DTN)
  • Work with PMC team to ensure documents with comments are returned within specified deadlines to engineering contractor document controllers
  • Coordinate with engineering contractor document controllers to ensure documents are handled efficiently
  • Ensure documents are managed according to the PMC project standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure client team are working to the latest revision of documents
  • Participate in project meetings as necessary
  • Ensure document archiving is undertaken in accordance with the client Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience of working as a document controller on major energy sector projects
  • Experience of working with proprietary or commercial document management systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
