Job Title: Sales Specialist – Digital Solutions

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Candidate will be responsible for providing technical and advisory support for digital solutions to customers and sales teams, effectively assessing technical requirements and translating these into business solutions.
  • Working with relevant teams and vendors, the candidate will facilitate meetings, present concepts to clients and design digital solutions to meet their business expectations.
  • He/She will also conduct pre-deployment surveys and feasibility studies for solutions, and provide both low level as well as high level technical designs for and in complex solutions, projects, RFPs and tenders, bridging the needs of the customer and the company.
  • The candidate will also monitor all critical SLAs, track cases of customer dissatisfaction, addresses or reports same to the appropriate parties for action While following up to ensure resolution with timely feedback to the customer.
  • Other responsibilities include keeping up to date information on customers including legal, product pricing, commercial management relative to contract agreements, price books, pricing tools, one-off deal specific bids, etc. while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting on sales pipelines & opportunity management.

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class) in Engineering, Information Communication Technology or Business Administration from a reputable university. Professional qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE is also required albng with a project management certification, An MBA from reputable institutions is an added advantage.
  • Sound business and commercial acumen including doing sales proposals, managing bids, business cases and justification, and business presentations.
  • Knowledge in creating business solutions for customers based on the customer business plans and priorities rather than on a company’s product offering.
  • Solid understanding of current and emerging business solutions/products and technologies.
  • Ability to project a strong positive image of self and company.
  • Candidates must have proven work experience with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a senior sales/business devejopment role in the Telecoms/ Technology industry selling digital/next generation solutions such as Data Centre, Cloud, Hosted (SaaS, laaS, PaaS), Managed IT, Security, loT, etc. to B2B customers with a solid understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE / Fixed / Wireless / Satellite / lP technologies and solutions.
  • Proven track record in consultative selling, business consulting and business development, managing key business accounts/relationships, top dollar opportunities and delivering on sales quotas.
