Paelyt is an innovative financial services company (payments, loans, and savings), and technology solutions provider. We possess several money lending products, including Traders/agents, Device financing, Supplier financing, Salaries etc.

Our payment platform, Paytrx, facilitates seamless and secure payments across several online and offline channels. Through partnerships with clients our solutions are functional at key banks and financial institutions. Our primary focus is on business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-business-to-customer(B2B2C) financial services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Analyst / Software Quality Assurance

Location: Lekki Pennisula, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


  • The Business Analyst/SQA will ensure that Technology solutions required to optimize our Business are robustly designed, implemented in line with specifications, and seamlessly deployed within our ecosystem

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyse business domains
  • Develop business case/justification document
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Develop robust Business Requirement Document (BRD) template
  • Engage cross functional stakeholders to document functional and non-functional Business requirements for new and existing products
  • Business Process Management – documentation, storage and retrieval, awareness, improvement, etc.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Translate BRDs into pseudo-code like user stories which can be easily implementable by developers
  • Create low fidelity mock-ups
  • Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Develop and implement testing framework
  • Create test plans,
  • Create test scripts/use cases
  • Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
  • Record test progress and results
  • Create code automated tests
  • Discover bugs within software – Identify, isolate and track bugs throughout testing
  • Manage solution release
  • Develop of user manuals
  • Train end users
  • Change Management
  • Research and implement the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
  • Other tasks assigned to from time to time based on business priorities

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business-related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis / Software Quality Assurance or a related field
  • Postgraduate/professional qualifications (CBAP, Six Sigma, PMP, etc.) in a numerate field will be an added advantage
