Task Culture is a dedicated freelance community and service marketplace. Here freelancers can sell the services they offer and submit proposals for projects they might be interested in as well, employers can also find and order pre-defined gigs from freelancers or post projects and receive proposals from freelancers who might be interested.

Task Culture currently accepts gigs and projects in over 150+ categories ranging from extremely technical tasks like coding to super simple gigs that almost anyone can execute.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Sales Support / Tele-marketer

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • Task Culture is looking to hire a qualified Telemarketer / Digital Support Executive. This personnel will be responsible for talking to potential customers on the phone or any digital medium to sell products.

The ideal candidate would be tasked with the following responsibilities:

  • Delivering scripted talks that describe the company’s products or services from a political talking point or appeal to persuade potential customers
  • Coordinating activities of marketing executives
  • Keeping track of customers that have been contacted and those who do not want to be contacted in the future
  • Following up on prospective customers for potential sales
  • Maintaining records of customer contacts
  • Explaining products and product prices
  • Answering customer information about our products,
  • Obtaining customer information such as name and address for shipping products or delivering services
  • Completing customer surveys to obtain information about potential customers

Qualification & Requirements

  • Candidate must not be above 35years
  • Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role (+1 year)
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection
  • BSc / BA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • Proactive, Self-motivated, Discipline,High level of drive, Result oriented and Good communication skills.
