We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Lagos

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must have good knowledge of capital market and client relationship management
  • Must have maintained a string of good customers including corporate and high net-worth
  • Seek new opportunities to generate sales and raise the profile of the company
  • Develop and maintain marketing plans with profitable execution initiatives
  • Develop and maintain sales support materials and investment information on website
  • Preparing presentations for investors’ education, seminars and other sales meetings.
  • Creating and managing client feedback programs to ensure best value delivery
  • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and related guidelines where needed
  • A team player, strong work discipline, organized, and willing to learn and impact knowledge on others.

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or any related discipline
  • Membership of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers or Related Body is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience in a banking, stockbroking or related fields.

Minimum Competency and Skills Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development and strong Relationship Management skills.
  • Must have good knowledge of capital market and business analysis,
  • Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
  • Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision making
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Demonstrable ability to operate under own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Website administrator skills.
