We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Content Creator / Writer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
The Role
- Write and edit campaign messaging, email templates, blogs, white papers, articles, social media posts, web copy, press releases, and video scripts
- Be responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy based on thegoals and objectives the company has created, and own and maintain a content/editorial calendar
- Work with internal and external subject matter experts and advisors to develop thought-leadership content
- Stay up-to-date with important wellness trends and curate content to share a point of view (Some content on the brand and editorial guidelines would also be shared with you to enable you succeed at your role)
- Work with graphic designers or videographers to manage overall content, however basic design skill is a plus.
- Implement SEO best practices, such as integrating keywords into content to drive organic traffic to our website
- Conduct research to support storytelling with documented proof
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- 1 – 2+ years of editorial or content marketing experience at a company or if you have a sample portfolio to show
- The passion and ability to create compelling stories from scratch
- Experience handling blog pages and writing on wellness is a plus
