Job Title: Onshore & Offshore Facilities Project Manager

Contract type: Temporary Work Contract
Contractual Hours: Full Time
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Duties

  • Onshore & Offshore Facilities Project Manager will be responsible or the management of services and processes that support the core business of an organization
  • Develops facility projects, both renovation and new construction, responsible for managing, and overseeing facilities planning, site planning, and programming, coordinating all installations and refurbishments
  • Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors
  • Project manage, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors
  • Investigate the availability and suitability of options for new premises

Profile

  • Required Disciplines: Engineering
  • Required Course Of Study: Bachelor of Engineering
  • Required Certificate: B.Sc. / B. Eng.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or Construction Management or related field and  five years of planning and construction experience; which includes 1 year of construction supervisory experience; OR,
  • Nine years of progressively responsible construction experience, which includes one year of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good analytical / critical thinking.
