Arnergy is a distributed utility providing energy reliability to SMEs and economic clusters in emerging market with flexible acquisition options including energy Subscription (ES) based on monthly fixed fee, consumer financed Lease to Own (LO) with monthly instalment or a Outright Sales (OS) option. Arnergy is on track to deploy excess of 100 Megawatt installed PV capacity powering more than 35,000 businesses across impact sectors not limited to Healthcare, Education, Hospitality by 2023. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Illupeju, Lagos
Industry: Engineering

Job Summary

  • Come join Arnergy’s team and help improve distributed energy reliability to businesses and homes in Nigeria.
  • You will analyse our core markets, products, processes and operations to identify gaps and frictions.
  • Additionally, you will provide solutions to the identified challenges, these include data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining workflows, processes and procedures.
  • Attending daily scrum and sprint planning sessions to document requirements and update product backlog.
  • A story detailing, feature listing and functional flow

You’ll focus on:

  • Using data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
  • Researching and analysing market trends to position the company for growth and scale.
  • Develop proposals to drive client and partnership engagements.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on all initiatives.
  • Developing Business processes across commercial units and cross-functional engagement.
  • Drafting meeting notes and agenda for monthly performance review sessions.

Requirements & Skills
You’ll be a good fit for this role if you have experience with:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst
  • You’ll need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of business process optimization, requirement elicitation, business modelling.
  • You will largely help the organisation to optimize processes, functions, products and services to meet the goals of internal, customer and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills – An outstanding analytical skill with hands-on experience analyzing data, workflows, user journeys and processes.
  • Leadership skills – Ability to lead and manage a team of up to 5 people. Demonstrated experience with managing people and delegating responsibilities.
  • Business process and planning – Effective planning skills with strong competence around tools that can be used to drive effective planning and execution.
  • Technical skill – Good working knowledge of operating systems, hardware capabilities, SDLC methodology, Agile (SCRUM, LEAN, KABAN) software development approaches.
  • Experience in a Project Management Organization preferred
  • Experience designing and implementing project management methodologies and requirements definition and management practices
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)/Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred
  • Working knowledge of the renewable energy sector with a sound understanding of regulations and the general market landscape.
