Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will assist in the recruitment, support and development of talents by developing policies and managing procedures. He/She will be responsible for administrative tasks and will contribute to making the company a better place to work.
  • We expect him/her to have knowledge of various HR functions. He/She should be committed, an approachable individual with good character and skills.
  • The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions and managing the hiring process.
  • Support the implementation of effective onboarding plans.
  • Assist in the development of training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, filling etc.) according to policy.
  • Assist in the review of employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements

  • First Degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations or in the Humanities.
  • Proven 2 – 5 years experience as HR officer.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • HR Credentials (e.g. CIPM or other HR Certification will be a plus.)
