Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • We are recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to manage its data collection program across eight states in Nigeria.
  • S/he will work directly under the Project Lead and will aim to ensure that the data collected is of the highest quality and accurate at all times.
  • The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for establishing procedures and quality standards and monitoring these against agreed targets/standards.
  • He/she would ensure that the data involved in the project are of suitable quality at all times. The officer must possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the data collected is accurate and of the highest quality at all times
  • Review all the tools and processes to ensure that they are of high quality and standard.
  • Prepare a pre-testing report with observations and recommendations from the pilot tests
  • Deploy the data collection tools at the testing facilities and carry out data collection using the developed tools.
  • Test the data quality, and efficiency of the data collection tools and processes used.
  • Organise data review meetings to ensure quality data was collected
  • Coordinate data security checks and database checks to ensure data is not lost.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field such as Computer Science or related fields with a minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
  • Superb computer competence, including database management
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice.
