BettaHealth is a humanitarian initiative started by Lifestake Foundation. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization, which was founded to raise funds to cover the hospital bills of stranded low-income patients across various,public and general hospitals in Lagos State. Within a period of six months, Lifestake was able to fundraise and pay off hospital bills of 29 patients which also includes 6 of which were in emergency situations. Being able to achieve the above motivated the organization to explore more sustainable ways to provide healthcare to more people across the country. Which led to founding of BettaHealth.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Virtual Telemarketer (Call Agent)

Job Description

  • Looking to hire an individual who would work as a telemarketer; This individual would not resume to the office, but would work from the comfort of their home. Certain targets would be given as well as benefits for meeting those targets.
  • He/she may be needed to come to the office once in a while but their primary location would be from their respective location of choice.

Key Objectives

  • Generate prospects by cold calling
  • Influence existing or potential customers to buy policies (Follow up Calls)
  • Generates leads from linkedin

Measurable Outcomes

  • Make cold calls and collect 50 email/whatsapp contacts daily
  • Average of 10 calls every hour
  • 20 new LinkedIn connections daily.

Job Description

  • Contact businesses and private individuals (Cold calls) by telephone
  • Deliver scripted sales pitch and explain the policies and pricing to potential customers
  • Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals/organizations
  • Elicit customer’s interest and/or request for further information/proposal
  • Obtain accurate and recent customer information including names, WhatsApp number, email addresses
  • Record customer details including reaction to sales pitch on CRM
  • Schedule appointments for sales respective to meet prospective customers
  • Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction

Telemarketer Profile

  • High School Diploma; BSc / BA is a plus
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience.
  • Sex – Female
  • Ability toconduct sales and marketing callsand knowledge ofsales techniques
  • Relaxed, confident telephone manner, and strong communication, presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Proficient in English
  • Information gathering and management skills
  • Adaptability and Initiative: Can think on their feet
  • High energy levels, Upbeat, Friendly, Warm and Professional

Tool Requirements:

  • A personal / secured desktop/laptop computer for accessing LinkedIn, CRM, Google
  • Quiet Work space
  • LinkedIn Account
  • Reliable internet connection

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Basic Salary: N40,000
  • Commissions.
