Job Title: Nursing Officer (Intensive Care Nursing)

Duties / Responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor patients’ condition and assess their needs in order to provide the best possible care
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Collaborate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Observe, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Administer patients’ medication and provide treatments according to Doctor’s instructions.
• Provide quality control and ensure patient safety at all times.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold the RN or Bachelor’s of Nursing Science Degree
• Be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license
• Possession of post basic qualification in Intensive Care Nursing from a competency & Credentialing Institute
• BLS certification required. ACLS and/or PALS Certification shall be added advantage.
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years Professional Nursing experience.
• Operating room experience preferred
• International working experience shall also be an added advantage.
