Job Title: Senior Marketing Lead

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The ideal candidate will be strong-in and passionate about marketing and technology.
  • You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue.
  • You will be data-savvy in understanding how to partner with the business in making data-driven decision.

Essential Job Functions

  • Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or share trends.
  • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
  • Collect and report business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources..
  • Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.
  • Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
  • Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications

Requirements

  • Knowledge of market research practices and techniques
  • Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies
  • Experience analyzing data
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Budget and cost analysis experience
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Project management experience
  • Experience running large scope projects with cross-over departments and large teams.
