Job Title: Air Cargo Operator / Sales Handler Officer

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Estimate freight or postal rates, and record shipment costs and weights.
  • Keep records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
  • Notify consignees, or customers of the arrival of freight or baggage, and arrange for delivery.
  • Prepare manifests showing baggage, mail, and freight weights and transmit data to appropriate bodies.
  • Determine method of shipment, and prepare bills of landing, invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Inspect and count items received and check them against invoices or other documents, recording shortages and rejecting damaged goods.
  • Meet all sales and service standards
  • Transfer cargo onto airplanes.
  • Ensures shipments are arranged according to cargo plans.
  • Prepare Air Waybills (AWB) before dispatching cargo for loading on board aircraft.
  • Prepare documentations for total number of outgoing cargoes.

Requirements

  • First Degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Administration and its related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in a Logistics firm/ an airport is an advantage
  • Strategic skills
  • Should hava a flare for sales
  • Organizational skills, management skills, business skills, networking skills, multitasking skills, and logistics skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
