Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Kaduna South, Kaduna State
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Are you a security official, or do you know a competent security officer?
• This role is responsible for the safety and security of the school’s premises. In addition, you will oversee the security of staff members, physical school assets, and all information records.
• The ideal candidate will be an experienced security agent with excellent communication and technology skills.

Key Responsibilities

• To be in charge of managing security risk assessments and supervising incident investigations;
• Building a comprehensive security program that includes physical safety and cybersecurity policies;
• Reviewing existing security measures and updating protocols as and when due;
• Identify potential security risks, and identify areas for improvements;
• Fostering a culture of security awareness by conducting training sessions and communicating pertinent information with personnel;
• Managing, evaluating, and resolving any security incidents or breaches and making recommendations to management.
• Ensuring that the school’s security policies comply with Federal laws and legislations;
• Presenting risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members;
• Working with management to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs;
• Any other assignment as may be given from time to time.

Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / OND qualification.
• The ideal candidate will come with a minimum o15 years of relevant industry experience
• Should have handled large security operations of an organization having presence in multi-level schools
• Experienced in setting up of security systems using the latest technology, process and implementation
• Well versed with handling crisis management, vigilance activities and security protocols
• Excellent network with government, regulatory agencies, civic authorities
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
