We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Commodities Buyer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- A Commodity Buyer will work in our supply chain to purchase commodities such as buying grains, nuts, herbs and spices to be used in our manufacturing and exports.
- Monitors and analyzes the commodities market and overall economic conditions to ensure that commodities are purchased at competitive prices.
- Being a Commodity Buyer participates in contract negotiations and ensures that orders include correct quantities and comply with quality standards.
- The Commodity Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in area of specialty – such as Agriculture.
- Additionally, as our Commodity Buyer you require technical and purchasing expertise on assigned commodities.
- The ideal candidate should have 3-5years of related experience.
