We are a leading Pharmaceutical Company based in Lagos with premium Ethical / OTC brands in different therapy areas; Fertility products and Wellness products. As part of a strategic drive with the objective of strengthening her competitive edge in the market, the company urgently requires the services of self-motivated and results oriented professionals to fill the position below:

Job Title: National Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Description

  • We require the services of self-motivated and results oriented professionals who will inter-phase effectively with the healthcare professionals and the trade channel operators in the territories / product portfolios assigned to them.
  • They will be required to secure the endorsement and prescription at the company’s brands by the healthcare professionals and driving for optimum visibility in the trade channels.

Responsibilities

  • The NSM will head the Sales department and will be responsible for the achievement of the sales and redistribution objectives of the company through the cost effective management of the sales team and the trade channels.
  • He will maintain effective liaison with the healthcare professionals with a view to maintaining effective partnership with them to enhance acceptability of the brands.

Qualifications / Experience / Competences

  • A minimum of good First Degree in Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or any of the related Sciences. An MBA will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of seven years hands on experience in a structured pharmaceutical company and a demonstrable track record of achievement in previous employments
  • Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and market
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Good man management and organization skills.
  • Ability to walk the tight rope and meet tough objectives.
  • Good leadership skills and a strong and infectious “can do” attitude.
