Job Title: Chief Sales Officer

  • Developing key growth sales strategies, tactics & action plans and oversee all Sales and Distribution activities of the Company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop frameworks, policies and procedures to guide all Sales and Distribution operations and enable the department to provide high-quality services to customers and attain set goals and objectives of the Company.
  • Ensure the effective management and implementation of all sales activities, consistent with the Company’s strategic direction and business objectives, business plans and within budgets
  • Regularly monitor and review resources of the department ensuring they are allocated and utilized in a cost-effective and financially disciplined manner and in line with budget provisions
  • Drive increase in Shareholder return by ensuring that S&D Processes are aligned to achieve all elements on the business scorecard. (E.g. Grow Data Revenue and Increase EBITDA margins)
  • Ensure the effective implementation and management of the sales and distribution and logistics strategy within the set budgets
  • Ensure all operational sales and plans will deliver the value committed to the shareholders
  • Identify business risks, critical issues and determine appropriate risk mitigation plans covering the short- to long-term horizon in respect of consumer sales and distribution in Smile
  • Coach and mentor the S&D team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of all related job requirements and accountabilities
  • Support the MD and Company in defining company direction and strategy
  • Ensure that all Sales & Distribution activities operate within the Company Sales strategy and blueprint

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Management or Relevant discipline.
  • An MBA or a Master’s qualification in a related field.
  • 8 Years’ Experience in similar Role.
