Job Title: HSSE Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description
- Build capacity and capability within Security to ensure strength in a Threat led organization across Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond model
- Own and manage the HSSE Risk Register and work with other departments to ensure HSSE risk is mitigated
- Own HSSE Crisis management function and ensure regular simulations are carried out to demonstrate resilience
- Regularly review and update Base, Site and Project HSSE plans. Ensure proper threat and risk monitoring is in place
- Build relationships with senior Government Security Forces (GSF) from the respective agencies within their Area of Responsibility (AOR);
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, or other related fields.
- Additional qualifications in Security / HSE is a distinct advantage.
- 10+ experience in security management, with at least 2 years in HSE or related function.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written & communication skills are required.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Knowledge of the oil & gas and EPCIC industry is desirable.
